Long distance relationship

Post by Brett »

Do you believe in long distance dating ?

Over the course of our two-year relationship, my partner and I have lived in three different cities across two continents. When I tell people that my boyfriend resides in Milan, they almost always say, "I'm so sorry." How do you accomplish that? Usually, my answer elicits uneasy laughter and incredulity, but it's true: "I like it that way." Even though we live on opposite sides of the world, our love is becoming stronger every day, and I couldn't be happier or more confident in our relationship.

What about you ?

Congrats. :D

But your long distance relationship must be challenging, is it ? Communication is key to making it work, as you and your partner need to stay connected and maintain a sense of closeness despite the physical distance between you. Regular phone calls, video chats, and messaging apps can help bridge the gap between you two I guess? It's probably also essential to establish a routine and set realistic expectations, such as scheduling regular check-ins and planning visits or trips to see each other. I hope these trips aren't too expansive for both of you. Trust and commitment must crucial in such a relationship, as you need to rely on your partner's promises and words to feel secure and supported. I suppose with effort and dedication, a healthy and fulfilling long distance relationship can thrive. I wish I can find this on this site.
